What I’m building is 2-part.

One is a community that I hope understands the urgency of this moment. The rise of AI and the automation of intelligence and of knowledge work is converging with a society that is perhaps more distracted, overwhelmed, anxious, and perhaps even socially divided than any time in recent history.

While Silicon Valley competes with one another to build an AI world that could make humans useless (or worse, wipe us out), today’s young and old are addicted to cell phone screens that spew cheap dopamine, provide easy access to oceans of apps and information, and outsource our precious cognitive processes. The things that make humans so deeply human are dissipating at the same time that the technology that could take us over is getting built and optimized exponentially, every single day.

My hope is that Simplifymeta can create communities where we collectively revitalize and reinvigorate our human craft, starting with our youth and through our schools and education system.

Two is our core online platform and ecosystem. This platform will enable youth globally to enhance their cognitive abilities and portfolio of judgement and ideas through public visibility, and the creation of a merit-based talent ecosystem designed for knowledge work. More on this to come.
